I used to be able to get Gammel Dansk at almost any decent bottle shop but I must've been the only guy that drank it 'cause now I can't find it anywhere. I may have to get drastic and go over the state line or something. Good thing states are kinda on the small size out here...George Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15375041586503979232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2695748260936745505.post-87338031660205397072011-11-25T16:37:36.511-08:002011-11-25T16:37:36.511-08:00"Old Danish". one my wife's favorite..."Old Danish". one my wife's favorites. We like Thanksgiving day simple too; just all the things we only get once a year like the wife's pearled onions. We leave the complications for the Jul Board. That's coming next.

In the meantime I need to find a new source for Gammel Dansk (bitter dram). Maryland distributorships have apparently cut it out of the herd. I've tried at several different good bottle shops without success. I like a drop in hot cider. It nicely cuts that itcky-sticky cider taste.George Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15375041586503979232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2695748260936745505.post-46280652777744762322011-11-25T15:42:27.527-08:002011-11-25T15:42:27.527-08:00We have long moved beyond serving all the food at ...We have long moved beyond serving all the food at the table. In all things simplify, simplify, simplify. We (mostly Big Larr)have cut back to just two varieties of turkeys this year, one smoked and the big oven roast one the size of a moth boat.

Damned dogs! One was not even a family critter, but their friend dog from the neighbors. Our dog was missing from action because we found a pug sitter for the day.Gunnar Berghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17451985764040900726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2695748260936745505.post-70326037882675827362011-11-25T14:24:27.800-08:002011-11-25T14:24:27.800-08:00Wha'da I think? They were just working under the dog/man SOP: "it's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission".George Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15375041586503979232noreply@blogger.com
