For Leah

  1. I have to admit...I thought I knew a bit about Texas music, but you turned me on to Blaze and I'm grateful for that. His recordings should be in the Libary of Congress collection. I have come to think that his contributions to American Music are as important as the delta bluesman, New Orleans jazzmen, Appalachian hillmen, or the Cowboys. He is, to me, the essence of the genre and a perfect example of Perfection being about not what is added...but what can be stripped away.
Thanks and have a good day!

    Best,
