Maybe mount one on a ceiling fan motor with a couple little blades in there for a cooling breeze!
That is by far the dumbest idea I've heard this week. I like it.

@Rick, Also, I made a living designing merchandising crap, which it sort of like "displaying" wheels on the ceiling.

I second the ceiling fan idea, maybe a leather belt drive running from a wall mounted electric motor, through the rims to a center fan. Kinda like an old 19th century factory!
