Birds in Oakwood - 9/3/2017

Starting to get near the end of the Fall fly-through, but there are still birds in Oakwood. Migrators, some summer nesters that haven't left yet, and a few year-rounder residents. Here are a few shots from today.

Yellow-throated Vireo

Wilson's Warbler

Communal bathing

Redstart

  1. That Tin Thrush would be a Lifer for me.

  2. It has been in the garden for a number of nesting seasons, though it doesn't visit the feeders or birdbaths often. It does not seem to be terribly territorial, but it maintains an almost constant presence.
