English Sheds

Yesterday I wasted a chunk of time just sitting and smoking cigars in the Growlery with Christy from next door. We do this fairly often, yet when he leaves invariably he says, "We should do this more often". I guess we haven't hit the threshold of too much yet.

Thanks to George A. for the link to these pictures. Also, thanks to The Telegraph where I stole borrowed these images.  And the Brits in general, who are wonderful in their quirky "shed in the backyard" sort of way.

Young girls grow out of playhouses just as men grow into them!

Good observation.

I like your avatar - Mavic labeled Modolos?

The Growlery was preordained. Its original builder instinctively followed the basic architecture of those fine old English sheds.

While I have a nice little laboratory I envy your Growlery...

Jon, Of course I am familiar with your brew lab. It appears very classic, but not Minnesota winter tight. More California loose.

Nice Man Caves you got there Gunnar.

Yes, Mavic labeled Modolos. I have a set (but this is a picture from a catalog) George B. Shaw looks looks like he's selling train tickets.

I had no idea so many famous writers had been exiled to the garage by their spouses. I don't feel so bad now.
