Yellow-throated Warbler

I don't have the energy for a snappy narrative this evening. Briefly, after lunch we met Brian and Jutta at Estero Llano State Park and I took a few ordinary photographs of common birds. One exception, a good looking male Yellow-throated Warbler. As they say, if you get one good photo a day you are doing okay.

Today, this was it. - Gunnar

Great shot of one of my favorite warblers.

Now it may be my imagination, but there seem to be quite a few of these in the valley this winter. Carolee and I saw quite a few Yellow-throated Warbler during our stay in the valley. In past years, we'd be lucky to see one.

Maybe, although personally I really haven't seen that many.

One pix but a great one! In yachting situations, one completed race, if conditions are adverse, constitutes a regatta.
