Coconino

Here is a snow bike built by Steve Garro, a longtime friend of the Mimbres Man. It's a straight forward bike with beautiful fillet brazing and wonderful tire clearances. Inspired by the adventures of Rev Dick, Jack Gabus is making rumblings about ordering one of these. This fat tired baby makes my old Coldnago seem ... inadequate.

Waiting in the barn.

The beast in it's element.

Steve has tons of miles under his belt; Mtb touring, mtb racing, and epic X-country riding. He puts all that experience into his frames. Each frame is better than the previous one. I want to get on the list myself.

I have lots of personal stories with Steve. You're right, he is a very funny guy. I feel fortunate enough to have been strong enough to hang with him in his prime. I thought I was strong back-in-the-day; he was the strongest rider I've ever ridden with.

I have the feeling that he is still one strong man. He's just playing the cards dealt him.
