Life Is Good

We are spending a few days at the cottage on Church Hill. I've been continuing to insulate the basement walls and generally tighten things up for winter. Tomorrow maybe I'll get to replacing the basement door threshold. Lorna has yoga early tomorrow morning. While she's burning off calories, I may sneak over to the Pastry Shop and see what Brett has in mind for my breakfast.

The pug is doing well. Greet all the folks back at home for me.

I should have hung the bicycle from the ceiling with monofilament.

So then, what did Brett have in mind for your breakfast? Yoga with sweet cream?

I flat love the wood floor, rug, and leather. Even knowing that there is no prairie pot-hole lake surrounded by oaks outside your door, I have to admit that, indeed, "Life Is Good" on the Hill.

That is some sensible floor protection below the bike. Would hate it to get hurt if it fell.....enjoy.

Things look v. comfy and inviting indeed. You need some Jul candles at the windows.

Margadant,
If I could afford it, I would be at the intersection of prairie, oak woods and pond - maybe on Lower Twin Lake. And a log home on a creek overlooking Lake Superior. And a third home ...

George,
Maybe. But someone else will probably to living here with the pug when we are in Texas this winter. We're still working on that.

Toad,
I'll get back to you on that.

And Rissik, thank you for your concern.

Toad,
We are probably both disappointed. ;-) I just had coffee and a small, heavy scone - no butter.

On second thoughts, maybe you could hang the bike upside down...then as you fell asleep on that stunning couch, the last thing you'd see would be....
