Day 2: Estero Llano Grande

Yesterday was very hot, today cool - a humid 55F with winds gusting to 37 mph. Nevertheless, your intrepid birder was out on the search, braving the elements. And she took her husband with her.

Two days of good photos -- either you're a dab hand with a camera in the wind, or out early.

Beautiful photography. Believe it or not the only glossy ibis I've ever seen was down by a farm pond near Harmony Minnesota...:)

Trout, As I live part time in Lanesboro, maybe we should meet for lunch sometime next summer.

Loving the beautiful photos, laughing at quips. The night heron's posture makes me think of old actor, John Houseman...

I love shore birds and waterfowl. They are where I direct my completely amateurish birding efforts. Thanks for the great photies..they help liven up a very dreary New England Monday morning.

Best,
