Sue, John, Sue (?), Steve, and Lorna
We saw a few shorebirds this morning, mostly Greater Yellowlegs, Dowitchers, Spotted Sandpipers and Black-necked Stilts. The Lesser Yellowlegs has a straight bill; the Greater a very subtle upswept bill. I'm claiming Greater Yellowlegs, and that's what I'm posting today. The pictures are all Greater Yellowlegs. So if anyone sees Lessers today in these pictures they are simply wrong.
