5/16/2017 Oakwood Warbler Shots

Shots from two or three hours this afternoon. A beautiful day, but quite windy. All days sprinkled with Warblers are beautiful.

Wilson's Warbler

Magnolia Warbler

Chestnut-sided Warbler

Nashville Warbler
Hermit Thrush (more likely a Swainson's?)

American Robin (a thrush)

This one is fun, It is a Black-throated Green Warbler. I did not catch it before it hit the bath. When it climbed up on the rock it looked like a tiny green floor mop.

Be well, Spring is here. -Gunnar

Wow! Gunnar, what a parade of fabulous birds! I'm so jealous. And yes, that is a Swainson's. The best way to tell the Hermit apart is that the Hermit has a distinct fox red coloration on its wing tips and tail.
