"It was a cold and stormy night" - Snoopy.

And it was damn cold today. And damp - heavy wool over-shirt, fedora and glove weather. We have had wonderful relatives onboard for the past couple of days. It was mid-afternoon before I could get down to the garden alone to bang off a few shots. The Tennessees were still out in numbers. I am starting to love them for their subtlety and "friendliness". I finally got a Redstart - settled for a female today, looking for a male tomorrow maybe. The light wasn't great, but a male Blackburnian made a couple of pit stops to light it up. The Blackpoll surprised me because I haven't seen one in the tree tops for a week or more. All good birds today.

Lovely pics. It's great to have them come to you rather than having to hunt for them. Patience either way.
