Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming– “Wow! What a Ride!”

I'm liking this more every time I flip to it. Would you care to give a short history and/or itinerary of the illustration?

Ralph Steadman did all the illustrating for Rolling Stone and was Hunters boon companion. For insistence, he invented the term "Gonzo". He is probably my favorite living artist. It's not easy to navigate, but you can find him at http://www.ralphsteadman.com/

That's one of the best quotes about life I've ever read. Very cool!

Hey, can I steal that for my motto?
