Time

...will beat the holy hell out of you and eventually take you out. But right now I'm still upright and ready for another round.

A thought, if you spend too much time really looking yourself in the eyes in a mirror, or even in pictures, you are almost certainly guaranteed to go insane.

This sums it up nicely.

"When I was a kid, I wanted to be older, this shit is not what I expected"

My attitude is that if you can look at yourself in the mirror & smile, you're doing it right.

I used to look in the mirror ans see my father looking back at me. No longer. My father never made it to my age, so now it's my grandfather that looks back at me.

@Rev, Even more so now.

Patina? Wasn't that an obscure Italian bicycle marque from the early 1960s?

Looking good, young man! Some Texan sunshine will no doubt do you some good :)

You're lucky, I never looked anything like my father nor got on with him, however I also currently have 5 years on him.

Interesting, both he & his brother never made it out of their 50s, yet their fathers & uncles made it into their 90s.

All down to clean living & pure thoughts.
