I'm Rich! I'm Rich!

I like Modolo Brakes. They work really well and are nicely finished. They make the classic Campagnolo brakes look like they were made by a blacksmith. I have three vintage bicycles that are equipped with Modolo Professionals. A set of gorgeous black ones just sold last on eBay for $802.99 + $55 shipping! People are crazy. They weren't even blue for chrissake.

Hmmm... Looks like the economy is on the mend. Gunnar I was at a Golf Tourney this weekend and at the live auction they were spending like drunken sailors. Always a good sign when the folks will part with cold hard cash like that.

eBay' odd though. There are these aberrant auctions occasionally, but there are way too many auctions which are ending without the reserve met, or silly "buy it nows". ???

I saw those black Modolos and thought to myself that they'd really look good on a Vent Noir finish bike, though I'd build it up silver rather than gold. Whatever it was, if I did, if I had a proper bike, if I had the money, if...

They weren't drunken sailors; they're GOP, just trickling down.

I have a Mavic letter set that is awaiting a Trek Toute' Mavic build up on a 1980 Trek 950 with Shimano verticle rear drop outs.

Trick frame.

My favorite- Master Pros with the titanium bits! I have an old Guerciotti in need of fresh paint that will be wearing them in the near future!
I also have a set of Mavic SSC logo Pros that look nice.
I really like your blue ones though!
