Fascinating article. Fresh milk was and is not part of traditional diets in Africa (probably to do with the hot climate). This probably explains why lactose intolerance is common here. Traditionally, milk is consumed in a "soured" form, dealing with the lactose. Nice link for a "bicyle blog" ;)
