Winter

It's getting to be late winter in a land of long winters. The depression of seasonal affective disorder is weighing heavy on me right now. Spring will come eventually so I can see the light at the end of the long black tunnel. Looking forward to longer days and more sun.

Ahhh patience grass hopper March
21st is fast approaching..Spring! and not too far behind is DST. The great thaw is about to begin and you will be able to ride your fabulous Mclean in and about the field of wheat and corn.

"Wax on Wax off"

Here in Laguna Beach we cannot wait for these day because the women in our fair hamlet ditch the jeans and sweaters for shorts and Bikinis.

Yeah, I've seen those ladies in summer form.

Patience. Spring is knocking. Out here in the Great Fly-Over I detect the odor of thawing, rotting vegetation; the sun lingers longer; and the patch of buffalo grass I planted behind the house is sneaking out of the drifts wearing a brilliant green color. A striking contrast to the bluegrass lawn which is brown, soaked, and matted.

It's time for you to start organizing gear, tweaking the ride, and consulting topo maps of the Lanesboro area. There's probably only one more spring blizzard to tough out. Planning will make it bearable.
