Another picture from Lorna's daily walk, a gnawed tree in Edgewater Park. As this is just a short distance from 1410, maybe I can hire him to take out a handful of Ash trees that are growing on my shoreline.
That's one busy beaver. You should have him cut the ash into useful lengths. I bought a chuck of white ash a couple years ago to make a new wishbone tiller for one of my Vintage Moths. Wonderful wood and probably soon to become rare due to an explosion of ash borer beetle populations.
The ashes on our shoreline are in the process of dying, but I cannot cut them down. By law the state/city owns the actual shoreline to the historic high water mark. The city of course is short of manpower and haven't been able to cut them down. Yet by an ordinance intended to protect the lake water quality, do find the manpower to prosecute and fine violators.

...and while they may make fine wishbone tillers, they are damned weedy trees to look at.
That's typical--no money for addressing a problem but plenty of money for enforcement. Hopefully that beaver will do what beavers do best...
