Rare to almost a vapor bird. Today we "saw" a White-throated Thrush. Frankly, it was fleeting glimpses of one bird among a tree full of Clay-colored Thrushes (rare enough) and other birds in a berry feeding frenzy. If someone else hadn't taken my hand and led me there and others were not calling out locations I would never have seen the bird and even if I did I probably wouldn't have identified it. If I were a life bird counter I could not count it. But I am not.

There were birders around me giggling and high-fiving that didn't feel that way and they were deliriously happy. It's hard not the share that joy - so I stepped aside for a minute to capture it.
