I am out of town this afternoon and overnight, but before I left this morning I shot a few pics of the White-throated Sparrows who were apparently attracted by the sound of moving water in the rock garden I started building late last summer - still in process, but it's getting there. The Sparrows summer in Canada and we seem to be a regular stop for them, both coming and going. They have a great call, a single tone whistle of "Oh, Canada, Canada, Canada", which I usually hear a couple of days before I actually see them.
Still keeping my promise of recording life in our backyard - Gunnar
