Addendum:
Brew Boy (the one time Beer Boy) is from Minnesota and so still plays hockey. Yesterday he picked up a typical souvenir. At least it wasn't his teeth - the other hockey marker.
My nephew, Chris brews all grain beer. He's pretty serious about it, but Megan wasn't impressed by all the mashing and sparging going on. She banned the operation because it was smelling up the house. Crestfallen, but not to be denied, he has soldiered on. Another pint of Old Back Yard anyone?
Christmas was pretty good. My gifts were well received and I got two fine books, a growler of 612 Rated R, a hoppy Rye IPA, and a Fulton Worthy Adversary, a Russian Imperial Stout.

Love the System!!
Winter Brewing Rules!
Can't believe she doesn't love that smell.
I'm amazed that yeast will ferment sugar at those temps! And besides that, what keeps the batch from freezing?
I dunno. There does seem to be a heating device off the the left. Next time I see him I'll ask him about the eye, not the beer. ;-)
