Ron Cooper Mixte: Done

Done - unless, if and when, new paint and decals. The old decals had no clearcoat and were so flaky I just wiped them off with the edge of a credit card. I do have a new set, but I'll hold them until I decide whether to have it repainted, paint it myself, or simply leave it and ride it. For now, ride it.

Nice looker. Love the wicker picnic baskets.

Hard to find such a beautiful new bike like that...

Thank you. The baskets were made by the Eli R. Hershberger family as a prototypes when I was the go-be-between the Amish and Velo Orange before they became too big to deal with more local suppliers (not from China?).

I wouldn't repaint it -- I still think that's a great color, and the paint appears to be in decent shape. The color looks really good with your fenders, baskets, saddle, etc. Put your repro decals on there, and enjoy the heck out of it!

Wow! Perfect fender lines, a gorgeous colour with lovely contrast between the accessories and the frame. decals or not, it's pretty much perfect. Thanks for sharing, Gunnar.

Should be British Racing Green .... Maybe with a light yellow to cream head tube and seat tube panel. Then it would be fast!
