Our daughter Addy came down for the day. A two-fer, her Mother's Day today and my birthday tomorrow. We went for a long walk at White's Woods. The dog, Parker was in absolute doggie heaven. Not many birds there, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks calling, but we enjoyed the Spring plants and a fly over by a single Sandhill Crane.
Back here in Oakwood we had some Thrushes, the first Hummingbirds of the year at the nectar feeders and an Oriole at the grape jelly. And of course a few Warblers - Blackburnian, Blackpoll, Bay-breasted and Tennessee Warblers. 85F and sunny and some took to the steam to cool off.
