As many of you know, we have a second home in Lanesboro. The bicycle trail triggered a huge change in the village, which eventually led to a number of B & Bs, restaurants and even professional theatre.
Such a different mentality than say Sweden where there's a long standing consensus of public access known as "every man's right". This extends even to privately owned land (with certain limits such as you can't pitch your pup tent in someone's front yard but you can stay briefly on their land, out of site, etc.) Glad that people are now seeing the benefits of opening the railway bed to other public uses.

What year did you buy your place in Lanesboro?
