Starting to get near the end of the Fall fly-through, but there are still birds in Oakwood. Migrators, some summer nesters that haven't left yet, and a few year-rounder residents. Here are a few shots from today.
Yellow-throated Vireo |
Wilson's Warbler |
Communal bathing |
Redstart |
Tin Thrush |

That Tin Thrush would be a Lifer for me.
It has been in the garden for a number of nesting seasons, though it doesn't visit the feeders or birdbaths often. It does not seem to be terribly territorial, but it maintains an almost constant presence.
