Tamales and Santa Ana NWR

It was hot today - in the mid 80s. When it cooled down a little later in the afternoon we went for a short hike - short because I wasn't feeling well, maybe because I ate too many tamales with too much salsa. But jeez, Manjar's is only three blocks a way and, and, and ... they were wrapped in cornhusks and bundled in layers of foil to keep them warm. And they were warm.

Green Jay, Common Yellowthroat, and a Nine-banned Armadillo.

Feeling much better now - Gunnar
